VEX GO Robotics Workshop Brings Coding and Creativity Together

Next Step successfully hosted a VEX GO Robotics Workshop for children aged 9–12 at our community center in the autumn of 2025. Over ten Saturday sessions, the participating children explored coding, engineering, and teamwork through hands-on, project-based learning in a fun and supportive environment.

The workshop was built around the theme of recycling and the environment. Working in small teams, children designed and built different parts of a recycling system using VEX GO robots, including conveyor belts, robotic arms, and transport vehicles. In the final sessions, all teams connected their creations into one large collaborative project, learning how individual ideas can come together to form a complex system. Along the way, children strengthened problem solving skills, creativity, and confidence while practicing collaboration and communication.

We are proud to see young learners grow their interest in technology and look forward to continuing our Kids’ Coding and Robotics programs in the future.
