Mind Matters

Mind Mattersa roundtable discussion on:

— Mental health,

— The importance of getting support, and

— Why it’s difficult to ask for help

Members of our community are invited to an online roundtable discussion about mental health, the importance of caring about mental health and ways of asking for support.

We will talk with experts to explore the subject and share it with our community to encourage taking better care of ourselves and each other.

We will also talk about how the mental health support program works at Next Step and why we started it.

It’s our experience that asking for help with our mental health is often a sensitive and difficult subject and there is still a lot of prejudice around this topic. Let’s talk about mental health and understand ourselves better!

Panelists:

James Peter – the president of Next Step Association

Gabriella Szabó – clinical psychologist, executive director of PsyAid Budapest

Kinga Á. Csonka – mental health expert at Next Step

The discussion will be moderated by Lilla Kallós, coordinator of the mental health support program at Next Step. There will be opportunity for the audience to ask questions from our experts.

The discussion will be in English language and it’s open to anyone to attend, but pre-registration is required.

This is an online event.  A link will be shared with registered participants.
