Next Step’s Robotics Teams Won in ERC 2025 Competition

Next Step Hungary Association recently participated in the EDU Robotics Cup (ERC) competition with our students and the results were outstanding. Before the results were announced, our teams were interviewed about their experience with Next Step. They were tremendously excited to hear the results and were very enthusiastic about having participated in the competition. Their parents also gave appreciative feedback, sharing that our program has greatly built the self-confidence of their children, especially at school.

The competitors and their families, friends, mentors, and Next Step staff, watched the results announcements together,  live at our head office — in an especially exciting moment as it all came out in our favor. Our team of kids came in 3rd place and our team of teenagers came first in their respective categories! There was so much exuberance in the room on Thursday 23rd of January, 2025! Everyone was absolutely thrilled that all the hard work paid off.

We remember our students’ efforts, especially on the long days when they attended our classes after school with the same constant passion and energy to learn more about coding and robotics. We also cannot forget the support, commitment, and encouragement from the parents, mentors, and Next Step staff. Most especially, we extend our gratitude to our partners, donors, and the Next Step community. This would not have been accomplished without all of you. Thank you all for showing the world what Next Step is about: changing lives and preparing future winners!
