Online Kids’ Coding (Scratch) Programme (8 weeks)
Next Step Hungary Association would like to invite your children, aged 7-15, to join our 2021 Online Kids’ Coding (Scratch) Programme.
Whether it’s your own children or children of your friends, we encourage them to participate! 🙂 It is a great opportunity to develop their logical thinking and boost their creativity. Joining is free of charge.
Required age of children
7-15 years old: the youngest ones should also be able to read!
Content of the workshops
Children will learn programming though creating their own computer games using Scratch, a software for playful coding.
About the levels
Children with little or no experience with Scratch will join the beginners’ group where they will create simple games. Those who have previously completed a beginner course previously will be assigned to the intermediate class, and those who have finished the intermediate level will be in the advanced group, where they will encounter new challenges.
Please note that if your child has completed the advanced level before or knows how to use Scratch very well, we recommend that she/he waits for our Micro:bit and Robotics Courses coming soon!
Schedule: 8 weeks from September 2021, on Saturday mornings.
Language: To be able to benefit from this program, children must be able to read and understand English.
Technical requirements
It is necessary to have a laptop or computer with reliable access to Internet. If only technical difficulties stop your child from joining the workshops, please let us know what kind of difficulties you face. We’ll do our best to solve the issue!
